When I told my friend that the best way for us to get our Eurail passes would be to buy them online, none of my friends wanted to believe me. They suggested that we only need to buy them once we get to Europe. Naturally, I decided to buy my passes online and only have them activated before I go on my first trip. Of course, I had the knowledge to make a reservation on an overnight train before I decided to board.
